Michael Rigney

CEO & Cofounder at Altus Thermal

Michael Rigney has a long and varied work experience, beginning with a role as a Consultant at Monitor Company in 1997. In 1999, they Co-Founded and served as Vice President of Business Development at BlueTarp Financial. In 2003, they were a Summer Associate at General Electric Wind Energy. In 2004, they were a Consultant at Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV). From 2005 to 2011, they held various roles at EnerNOC, including Business Development Manager, Director and Senior Director of Business Development, and Vice President of C&I Marketing. From 2011 to 2014, they were Vice President of Business Development and a Founding Team Member at Gridco Systems. From 2014 to 2019, they were Senior Vice President of Client Solutions, Marketing and Regulatory Affairs at EnergySavvy, which was acquired by Tendril (now Uplight). Finally, in 2019, they became the CEO of Altus Thermal.

Michael Rigney holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a B.E., B.A. from Dartmouth College in Mechanical Engineering.
