Nicolas M. is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Strategy and Special Projects at AltVest Capital since April 2022 and as the MD of Operations & Head of Community Growth at BankerX since February 2022. Previously, Nicolas held various consulting roles at Boston Consulting Group from February 2018 to February 2022, progressing from Junior Associate to Consultant. Nicolas contributed as a consultant at Phaphama Sedi, assisting local entrepreneurs in Khayelitsha with business challenges and financial record maintenance. Additionally, Nicolas worked as a tutor at the University of Cape Town, preparing and conducting tutorials, as well as marking assessments, from January 2016 to November 2017. An early experience as a Trade Finance Intern at the International Finance Corporation provided foundational insight into international finance. Academically, Nicolas holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Science in Accounting and Finance, both from the University of Cape Town, and a National Senior Certificate from Crawford College Pretoria.
