Edwin van de Wetering

Edwin van de Wetering is an experienced advanced process engineer and business planner currently employed at Aludyne since April 2021, overseeing operations for both the EU and US markets. At Shiloh Industries, where Edwin has been since December 2019, responsibilities include calculating and technically specifying projects during the RFQ phase for automotive parts involving aluminium and magnesium casting, machining, and assembly, with a focus on high-pressure die casting plants in Europe. Previous roles include an advanced process engineer and RFQ coordinator at Shiloh Industries from March 2018 to January 2019 and a parts process development engineer at Brabant Alucast from November 2000 to January 2019, where projects involved high-pressure die casting products. Edwin also held the position of senior production engineer at DAF Trucks NV from January 2007 to September 2009, managing the production line for engine block machining. Educational qualifications include a degree in mechanical engineering from HTS, completed from 1994 to 1998.
