Janette Suarez is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as a Mental Health Resource Specialist at Alum Rock Counseling Center since March 2015. Prior to this role, Janette worked as a SDC and ABA Behavior & Instructional Aide at The Moreland School District from August 2012 to March 2015, and as a Lead Preschool/Kindergarten Teacher Aide at the Champions After School Program from 2007 to 2012. Janette also completed an internship as a Medical Assistant Office Intern at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte in 2007. Janette holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from San Jose State University, earned between 2010 and 2014.

Our youth graduate from middle school, high school and beyond. 3. Our youth and families are free from involvement with the justice and/or social services systems. 4. Our homes, schools and neighborhoods are safe - free of violence and dangerous behaviors. 5. Our youth and families have resources for overcoming behavioral health concerns including substance use and mental health challenges.
