Vijay Thakrar

Vijay Thakrar is a Non-Executive Director at Alumasc Group. Vijay has also previously worked as an Alpha FX Group plc, RSM UK, Treatt, and The Alumasc Group plc. Sanderson Design Group plc. Vijay's responsibilities in this role included supporting and challenging the Executive team on strategy and scrutinising business performance. As NED, they supportively challenged Executive team to increase digitalisation in sales, marketing and production, drive efficiencies in the business (particularly overhead costs, inventory levels and cash management), optimise licensing of valuable archives, focus on key international markets (close sub-scale overseas operations) and incentivise all staff by introducing an all employee profit sharing scheme. From September 2017 to December 2018, they were a Non Executive Director at Briggs Irrigation.

Vijay Thakrar attended the London School of Economics and Political Science, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Vijay also holds A Levels in Economics, English, and Mathematics from Gateway Sixth Form College Leicester.
