Ting-Rong Chern

Ting-Rong Chern is a Scientist specializing in Computational Chemistry with experience in lead optimization, Hit to Lead drug discovery, and hit identification using AI/ML. They have worked at Alumis and Atomwise in various scientific roles. Prior to that, Ting-Rong was a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, focusing on the development of DCN family and MLL1 methyltransferase inhibitors. They also served as a Research Assistant at Academia Sinica, Taiwan, where they worked on dual A2A receptor and ENT1 inhibitors, as well as dual HDAC and HMGR inhibitors. Ting-Rong holds a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from National Taiwan University.
