Brook Stroud

Brook Stroud is a seasoned professional in the venture capital and entrepreneurship sectors, currently serving as Senior Principal at Alumni Ventures since January 2021, following previous roles as Principal and Senior Associate. Stroud also holds the position of Angel Investor at Sauna Ventures and was an Entrepreneur In Residence at Brand Foundry Ventures from April 2020 to January 2021. As the Founder of Somerset, which was acquired in November 2019, and Co-Founder of La Matera™, a luxury brand acquired in 2015, Stroud has a strong entrepreneurial background. Educationally, Stroud holds an MBA in Finance from the Texas McCombs School of Business and a BA in History and Art History from the University of Richmond, along with a high school diploma from The Taft School and participation in a study abroad program at the University of Otago in Dunedin, NZ.
