Mary Jane Bedegi

Mary Jane has held several key finance leadership positions with various Silicon Valley VC firms, including Silicon Graphics and WarpSpeed Communications, and was a principal in public accounting with Ernst & Young. Most recently she was CFO at Nokia Growth Partners, where she set up operations in the US, Finland, Switzerland, China, and India. She has contributed to many companies, building business plans, acquiring funding, and leading project teams on process improvement and software installation. She was part of a winning team in the Berkeley Business Plan Competition, as well as a mentor or judge for Berkeley and other business plan competitions, and is a guest lecturer for the Haas venture capital boot camp. Mary Jane has an MBA from UC Berkeley. She is a CPA (inactive) and a contributing author of the First Mile—Essentials of Entrepreneurship.
