Michael Madden

Michael Madden co-founded and serves as Managing Partner Emeritus at Alumni Ventures Group, which oversees over $500 million in capital for university community members from prestigious institutions including the Ivy League, Stanford, and MIT. Michael also founded The Yard Ventures, a Harvard alum venture fund that supports Harvard alum-led companies, and has held positions as Managing Director at Square 1 Bank, Principal at Edison Partners and Polaris Venture Partners, and Associate at Summit Partners. Michael started the career as an Analyst at JP Morgan and Hambrecht & Quist, and initially gained business development experience at Athletes' Performance. Educational credentials include a BA in Economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
