Yashar Behzadi

Yashar Behzadi is a seasoned entrepreneur and AI innovator currently serving as a DeepTech Venture Scout at Alumni Ventures since October 2023. As the CEO and Founder of Synthesis AI since September 2019, Yashar has been at the forefront of pioneering synthetic data and generative AI, earning recognition from prominent organizations such as VentureBeat and MIT Tech Review. Previously, Yashar led Neuromation, a company recognized as a "Cool Vendor in Core AI Technology" by Gartner, and founded Base Theory Partners, providing strategic consulting in the AI and digital health sectors. Early career achievements include significant roles at popSLATE Media and Proteus Digital Health, contributing to advancements in mobile consumer technology and digital health, respectively. Yashar holds a PhD, MS, and BS in Bioengineering from UC San Diego.
