Maureen Womack

Maureen Womack has extensive experience in the behavioral health field. Maureen currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Alvarado Parkway Institute Behavioral Health System. Prior to this, they worked as the System Director of Behavioral Health at Bozeman Health starting in 2019. From 2014, Womack served as a Senior Consultant at Every Step Psychiatric Services, where they provided expert witness services, acted as an Interim CEO, and offered consulting for hospital start-ups and regulatory compliance.

In 2015, Womack took on the role of President/CEO for two behavioral health hospitals at Alliance for South Sound Health and Cornerstone Behavioral Health El Dorado. Maureen oversaw the opening of a free-standing psychiatric hospital and crisis stabilization unit, in addition to guiding the development and construction of the Alliance for South Sound Health organization.

Additionally, Womack served as the CEO of Cornerstone Behavioral Health from 2015 to 2017, where they played a crucial role in the opening and accreditation of a new psychiatric hospital in Arizona, ensuring patient and staff safety, market growth, and financial stability.

Earlier in their career, Womack held the position of Executive Director at Johnson County Mental Health Center from 2012 to 2013, leading the organization's financial, strategic planning, compliance, and evidence-based practices. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director at Norfolk Community Services Board from 2008 to 2011, overseeing the administration, patient care, compliance, and financial reporting of a large behavioral health care agency. Additionally, Womack was the President/CEO of Davis Behavioral Health from 1998 to 2008, where they managed operational functions, public relations, human resources, and compliance.

Throughout their career, Womack has demonstrated expertise in various areas, including hospital management, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, strategic planning, quality improvement, and staff and physician relations.
