Anna Koenig

Anna Koenig is a Financial Analyst at Alvarado Street Bakery since September 2023, with a diverse background in finance and operational leadership. Anna co-managed the launch of Soft Medicine Sanctuary, a wellness studio and restaurant, and previously held roles such as Chief of Staff to the CEO at Starship, where responsibilities included managing P&L and banking operations, and overseeing company-wide communications. Anna's finance expertise was further evidenced at Synapse, where a successful fundraising process secured $33 million, and at UCSF as an Oncology Budget Analyst, focusing on clinical trial budgets. Early career experiences include business analysis at Wells Fargo and financial planning at AXA Advisors. Anna holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and has additional qualifications in yoga teaching.
