John Haberek

John Haberek, CTM, is a seasoned security and public safety consultant with extensive experience spanning several decades. Currently serving as Principal Security Consultant at Alvarez Associates LLC since January 2014, John specializes in workplace violence prevention and response strategies across various industries. Prior to this role, John operated Haberek Consulting Services, offering expertise in public safety, emergency management, and homeland security. John's previous experience includes significant positions such as Division Chief for the City of Folsom, where responsibilities encompassed community risk reduction and fire prevention, and Fire Captain with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, managing emergency operations and training. Early in John's career, experience as Paramedic Supervisor for the County of Mono laid a foundation in emergency medical services.
