Eric Johnson

Eric Johnson is an experienced school counselor currently serving at Alvin ISD since January 2022. Previously, Johnson held the position of Mental Health Manager for LPCs at UTMB from January 2015 to January 2022 and worked as a school counselor at Alvin ISD from July 2004 to July 2014. Earlier experience includes teaching at Clear Creek ISD from January 1998 to July 2004, as well as working as a case worker at Gulf Coast Center in 1997. Johnson's career began as a Correctional Officer III with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, where various roles included Treatment Specialist and Parole Case Worker. Johnson holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Sam Houston State University, and an Associate's degree in Process Technology from Alvin Community College.
