Róbert Wessman is an accomplished Icelandic businessman with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. As the founder and chairman of organizations such as Aztiq, Alvotech, Adalvo, Alvogen, and Almatica Pharma, Róbert Wessman has been instrumental in increasing global access to quality medicines and advancing scientific community efforts. In addition, Róbert Wessman serves as the chairman of the board at Lotus Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd and is a member of the board of directors at Fuji Pharma Co. Ltd. Róbert Wessman co-founded Maison Wessman, focusing on producing world-class wines, and previously held the position of president and CEO at Actavis.
