Atefe Shokri

Atefe Shokri is a Senior Scientist in Upstream Process Development at Alvotech since June 2025, following a similar role at Xbrane Biopharma AB from May 2021 to June 2025, where expertise in upstream processes and biosimilar product development was demonstrated. Prior experience includes a position as Scientist and Lab Manager at CETEG, focusing on industrial biotechnology from 2013 to April 2021, and various engineering and quality roles in notable companies such as Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan, Bioproducestockhlm, NNE Pharmaplan, Maselaboratorierna AB, and Lantmännen from 2004 to 2013. Atefe holds a PhD in Bioprocess Engineering and a Civ ing in Chemical Engineering, both from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
