Nivedita Roy

Nivedita Roy has a strong background in regulatory affairs within the pharmaceutical industry. Nivedita is currently the Vice President at Alvotech, where they have held various roles, including Global Regulatory Affairs Senior Director and Director. Prior to Alvotech, Nivedita worked as an Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs at Merck Group. Before that, they were the Deputy General Manager of Regulatory Affairs at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals. Their earlier experience includes a managerial position at Biocon India Ltd. and a regulatory lead role at GlaxoSmithKline Bio, where they focused on regulatory strategy and the development of recombinant vaccines.

Nivedita Roy attended The Mothers International School from 1979 to 1989. Nivedita then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Molecular Biology at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 1992 to 1999.
