Espen Zachariassen has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and roles. Espen is currently the CEO of Alytic, a company that focuses on making investments for positive societal impact. Prior to this role, Espen was the CEO of Wattsight from 2018 to 2020. Espen has also held various leadership positions, including Chairman roles at Factlines AS, Veyt, Utel Systems, and Kontali. In addition, Espen has experience as the CEO of Markedskraft ASA, where they also served as the Director of MKonline and as a Portfolio Manager. Espen has also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Powel AS and as an Advisor Corporate Manager/Investment Manager at Agder Energi AS. Earlier in their career, Espen worked at Los Bynett AS in roles such as Director of Network and Director of Business Development.
Espen Zachariassen has a diverse education history, starting with attending Arendal Gymnas from 1987 to 1990. Espen then pursued military and strategic leadership studies, first at Officer training school (BSHSB) from 1991 to 1992, and later at Military Academy Gimlemoen from 1993 to 1995. Later on, Zachariassen joined Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and obtained a Master's degree in Finance from 1997 to 2001. In 2001, they also earned a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Continuing their educational journey, Zachariassen enrolled at Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) from 2004 to 2006, where they achieved a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Strategic Management (MASTRA). Furthermore, in 2008 and 2009, they obtained a Certificate in Financial Energy Analysis from Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). Lastly, in 2016 and 2017, Zachariassen participated in the Solstrandprogrammet, an executive program at NHH Norwegian School of Economics.
