David Horad

David Horad has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and risk management. David has worked as an Information Security Manager at Alza.cz a.s., where they are currently employed. Prior to that, they served as a Cyber Security and Privacy Officer at Huawei Technologies (Czech) s.r.o. and as an Information Risk Management Senior Specialist at ING Bank N.V.

Before this, David worked as a Business Information Security Officer at NN Životní pojišťovna a penzijní společnost, a.s., where they were responsible for coordinating Business Information Security activities and managing Information Security planning. David also represented the organization towards regulators and served as the Senior Supplier for GDPR compliance on the IT side.

David also has experience at CSC - Computer Sciences Corporation, where they worked as a Security Manager Austria & Czech Republic and as a Senior Cyber Security Consultant. At T-Systems Czech Republic a.s., they served as a Country Security Manager, responsible for the recertification of ISO 27001 Information Security Management System and overall security governance. David also worked as a Data Privacy Officer, ensuring data privacy protection and compliance with regulations, and as the Head of Process & Quality Department.

Earlier in their career, David worked as a Privacy Officer and Information Security Manager at Vodafone Czech Republic, a.s., and as the Head of IS/IT Audit and IS/IT Auditor at Komercni banka, a.s. David also worked as an IT Development Manager at Credit Suisse Life & Pension - Pojistovna, a.s. and as an IT Manager at Dattelkabel, a.s.

David Horad attended Vysoka skola ekonomicka in Prague from 1992 to 1996, where they studied Statistics and Econometrics. David obtained a degree in this field during their time at the school. Additionally, David Horad has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In September 2006, they became a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) through ISACA. In January 2011, they achieved a BTEC Level 4 Award in Security Management from Edexcel. In November 2011, they obtained the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA. Finally, in April 2013, they became certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA.
