Jakub Hout

Jakub Hout has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Jakub started their career as a Software Tester and Junior Java Web Developer at Softec in 2013, where they tested complex systems in the insurance sector and also worked on Java development for information systems. In 2014, they briefly worked as an IT support for the generator of accreditation materials at Czech Technical University in Prague. Later in the same year, they joined Alza.cz a.s. as a .NET Programmer, where they worked on front-end and back-end development for the biggest e-shop in the country. Jakub had several significant projects during their tenure, including logistic integration and redesign of the shopping cart. In 2020, they took on the role of Web Development Team Lead at Alza.cz, where they led a team and supported their growth and realization. In 2023, they transitioned to the role of Product Owner of the Checkout, where they are responsible for various aspects of the checkout process, product availability, payments, and orders.

Jakub Hout completed their education at the Czech Technical University in Prague. Jakub received a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from 2011 to 2014. Jakub later pursued a Master's degree in the same field from 2014 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Jakub also obtained various certifications. These certifications include "Exam 486: Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications," "Exam 487: Developing Microsoft Azure and Web Services," "MCSA: Web Applications - Certified 2021," "MCSD: App Builder — Certified 2021," "Exam 480: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3," "Exam 483: Programming in C#," and "Database Design and Programming With SQL" from Oracle Academy in May 2013.
