Kenann Cassidy

Area Leader at Alzheimer's Association

Kenann Cassidy is the current Area Leader at the Alzheimer's Association. Prior to this, they were the Senior Vice President at the American Cancer Society from November 1995 to December 2016. In this role, they led the Vice Presidents and senior leadership teams to achieve their goals in all income sources, including special events, major gifts, corporate partners, and community engagement. Kenann also oversaw board development and health initiatives, partnering with advocacy, communications, finance, facilities, IT, and human resources to support the overall function and mission of the American Cancer Society.

Before their time at the American Cancer Society, Kenann Cassidy was a Case Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Manatee County from January 1993 to June 1995. In this role, they were responsible for volunteer recruitment, match supervision, and fund raising.

Kenann Cassidy has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida and a degree in Interdisciplinary Social Science from the University of South Florida.

Kenann Cassidy reports to Harry Johns, Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with Maria C. Carrillo - Chief Science Officer, Kristen Clifford - Chief Program Officer, and Liz Adams - Chief Development Officer.
