Matthew Clement

Matthew Clement has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Matthew is currently serving as the Director of Partnerships & Scientific Strategy at the Alzheimer's Disease Data Initiative and as the Director at Gates Ventures, starting in April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Consultant from September 2020 to March 2021. Matthew also held positions at Gates Ventures as the Associate Director from January 2020 to September 2020 and as the Senior Program Manager from January 2019 to January 2020. Before joining Gates Ventures, they worked as an Associate Consultant at C2R Corporation from December 2013 to December 2018. Matthew's earliest work experience was as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton from March 2008 to December 2013.

Matthew Clement holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from UCLA and a B.A. in Chemistry from Macalester College.
