Kate Mulhearn

Kate Mulhearn has a diverse work experience in the finance and compliance field. Kate is currently working as an Associate Director - Finance & Compliance at Alzheimer's Society since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as a COVID-19 Projects Lead at Buckinghamshire Council from April 2020 to April 2022. Kate also worked at Aylesbury Vale District Council as an Assistant Director from April 2019 to April 2020, and as the Head of Internal Audit, Risk & Governance from October 2016 to April 2020. Before joining the public sector, Kate worked at PwC as a Senior Manager in Internal Audit, Public Sector from September 2012 to October 2016. Kate'searlier experience includes roles such as Grants Manager at World Vision UK from February 2009 to August 2012, and International Finance Manager at World Vision Australia from 2005 to 2008. Kate also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they served as Assurance Training Manager from 2003 to 2005, and as an Audit Manager from 1997 to 2003.

Kate Mulhearn received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from the University of Nottingham from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Aylesbury High School and completed their Chartered Accountant degree at ICAEW in 2000.
