Heng Pan

Dr. Heng Pan is the co-founder and Chief Scientist of Am Batteries and co-inventor of the dry powder-based additive manufacturing of batteries. He is also an Associate Professor at Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Pan is an expert in additive manufacturing and micro/nano laser processing, with over 11 years of experience in the field. He has been investigating laser processing with over 11 years of experience in the field. He has been investigating additive manufacturing of Li-ion batteries at Missouri University of Science and Technology, where he earned his MS in Manufacturing Engineering and later became an Associate Professor. Pan then received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.
