Ian Kinney

Ian Kinney is a seasoned process engineer with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and battery technology sectors. Currently serving as a Process Engineer III at AM Batteries since January 2024, Ian has previously held positions as a Process Engineer at 24M Technologies, where responsibilities included leading process development and exploring new technologies. Prior experience at Vertex Pharmaceuticals demonstrated Ian's capabilities in continuous powder blending and collaborative research projects focused on powder surface modification, alongside roles in continuous solid oral dosage manufacturing and lab-scale experiments. Ian's early career included an internship at Vertex Pharmaceuticals and a co-op at Biogen, where contributions involved developing predictive frameworks and automating analytical processes. Ian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, completed in December 2018.
