Jimmy Kan

Jimmy Kan is a Partner at Anzu Partners with a focus on investing at the intersections of semiconductor technologies, next-generation materials, and life sciences. He also supports portfolio companies in business development, strategy, and technical product development and marketing. Kan earned his B.S./M.S. degrees in Materials Physics from the University of California, San Diego, as well as a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, where his research focused on harnessing the unique magnetic, electrical, and optical properties of nanostructured materials for hardware applications.
