Valerie A Spelman is a retired executive administrative assistant with extensive experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. Most recently, Valerie worked at Pfizer from July 2005 to December 2018, serving in various roles, including Executive Administrative Assistant for Patient & Health Impact and Global Health & Value, as well as Senior Administrative Specialist positions in both Tofacitinib IBD and FCPA Worldwide Compliance Programs. Prior to Pfizer, Valerie held positions at Phoenix IP Ventures, GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals, Temple University Hospital, and the Philadelphia Geriatric Center. Valerie holds a certification in Secretarial Science, Medical Transcription, and Word Processing from the Center for Innovative Training and Education, and completed additional education at Temple University and the College of Marin. Currently, Valerie is engaged in volunteer work post-retirement since January 2019.
