Mark Rodighiero has extensive experience in the technology and business development field. Starting in 1983, they worked as a Program Manager at Unisys before joining Vega, a Mark IV Company, in 1986 as the Director of Engineering. In 1993, they became the Vice President of the Laser and Systems Division at Miyachi Unitek. Currently, they are employed at Amada Miyachi America, where they hold the position of EVP of Technology and Business Development. In this role, they manage the Advanced Technology and R&D departments, and has successfully developed and deployed an Industrial IoT system with machine learning tools for predicting output quality of laser material processing. Additionally, they have led an international data science team in developing techniques to identify production defects in laser material processing applications.
Mark Rodighiero attended the University of Southern California from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. Their studies focused on digital communications, pattern recognition, machine learning, and control systems.
Prior to their time at USC, Mark Rodighiero attended California State University, Los Angeles from 1977 to 1982. Mark earned a BSEE degree in Engineering from this institution.
Additionally, Mark Rodighiero obtained a certification in Data Science Specialization from Coursera Verified Certificates in 2015.
