Axel Mueller

Axel Mueller is an experienced leader in the travel technology industry, currently serving as Regional Vice President DACH at Amadeus since September 2014, and previously holding roles such as Director EMEA Region & Global Accounts and Head of Global Sales & Account Management. Axel has successfully led commercial teams across the EMEA region, overseeing sales, account management, and customer success for global clients. Additionally, Axel is a member of the GBTA Europe Advisory Board since March 2023, contributing to the advancement of business travel professionals. Prior to Amadeus, Axel held significant positions at Traveltainment, where responsibilities included sales and marketing for e-commerce products, and previous work with Lufthansa Group involved business development and strategic initiatives post-acquisition by Amadeus. Axel holds a Diplom Kaufmann degree in International Management from Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg and studied at Universitat de Barcelona.
