Esmond Chia

Esmond Chia has extensive experience in product management and strategy, currently serving as VP of Business Intelligence Product Management at Amadeus since September 2010, overseeing BI product operations for a suite of applications in a cloud model. Prior to this role, Esmond was Director of Product Management & Strategy at Oracle Corporation, contributing significantly to the growth of the Oracle Business Intelligence Applications business after the acquisition of Siebel Systems, where Esmond started a career in product management. Early career involvement included positions as Senior Software Engineer and Field Service Engineer at Lam Research Corporation, and an MBA Finance Internship at Dell Computer Corporation. Esmond holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
