Sophie Wood

Sophie Wood serves as the Legal Head of Product, Innovation and Partners at Amadeus since September 2014, providing Corporate and Commercial legal support for the Innovation and Start-ups unit as well as Airport IT, managing key Vendor Partner contracts and global customer relationships. Previous experience includes an Associate role at Slaughter and May from March 2007 to September 2014, where a multidisciplinary approach was applied in the Corporate department, along with a secondment as Legal Counsel at Thomas Cook Group, managing the sale of travel-related subsidiaries, and another secondment at Standard Chartered Bank, specializing in international legal risks. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s Degree with Honors in Psychology from the University of St Andrews, complemented by notable academic achievements from Charterhouse School and Guildford High School.
