Ramona Tosone has extensive experience in the metallurgy sector, currently serving as the Head of the Center for Material Innovation at AMAG Austria Metall since March 2010. Previous roles at AMAG include Deputy Head of Material Testing in R&D, Head of Technology Automotive Products & Transport, Group Leader Technology Automotive Products, and Technology Automotive Products. Ramona began their career at Lederfabrik Vogl, working in Controlling/Rechnungswesen/Finanzierung from June 2003 to July 2005. Ramona holds a PhD from Montanuniversität Leoben, obtained between 2012 and 2015, and a Diplom-Ingenieurin in Metallurgie from the same university, completed in 2010. Additionally, Ramona has pursued further education at the University of Cambridge in 2022 and holds a Matura in Controlling from Handelsakademie Braunau, earned in 2003.

AMAG Austria Metall AG is an Austria-based holding company of the AMAG Group (the Group). The AMAG Group is engaged in the production of aluminum products with product portfolio ranging from primary aluminum through cast products to flat rolled products. The Group operates two production sites: the production of primary aluminum is performed through Aluminerie Alouette Inc (Alouette), located in Canada, and the production of cast and flat rolled products is performed in Austria. The Group's business activities are dividend into four divisions. The Metal Division is engaged in sourcing of alumina for, and selling, aluminum produced by Alouette, among others. The Casting division operates a foundry alloys casthouse. The Rolling Division produces aluminum rolled products. The Service Division provides various intra-group services, including marketing, among others. In September 2013, B & C Alpha Holding GmbH completed a mandatory tender offer to raise its interest in the Company to 53.8%.
