Velu Roby is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in strategic management, entrepreneurship, and finance. Currently serving as the Manager of Strategic Initiatives at Amagi Corporation since May 2022, Velu drives the development of a strategic certification program and fosters innovation across teams through AI and stakeholder engagement. As a co-founder of Alpha Array, launched in February 2022, Velu has positioned the brand as a premium men's apparel label in 13 countries, emphasizing innovative designs and sustainability. Prior experience includes managing key M&A initiatives at Medi Assist, contributing to the company's public listing readiness, and roles at Anheuser-Busch InBev, EY, and JSW that enhanced operational efficiency and strategic insights. Velu holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
