Katherine Katan Piñeiro

Katherine Katan Piñeiro has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Katherine has worked as a Scrum Master at Amalgama since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Education Manager at Fundación Germinare from August 2020 to April 2022. In this role, Katherine worked on the "Agents for Change" program that aimed to provide education opportunities to underprivileged children.

From July 2018 to April 2022, Katherine worked as a Clinical Psychologist in a private practice, where they provided psychological treatment to individuals of different age groups with a focus on stress and anxiety disorders. Katherine also worked on building community support systems for their patients.

In addition, Katherine worked as a freelance recruiter from March 2019 to December 2021, managing end-to-end recruitment processes for startup clients. Katherine was responsible for talent mapping, organizing intake meetings, and coordinating interviews.

From June 2018 to June 2021, Katherine worked as a Clinical Psychologist at the Mental Health Center "Dr. Hugo Rosarios," where they provided psychological treatment to children and women who were victims of gender violence. Katherine also managed and supervised therapeutic groups.

From March 2020 to September 2020, Katherine served as an Educational Psychologist at The Global School, monitoring the academic and personal progress of students and providing guidance and support to families and the educational community. Katherine also managed programs for inclusive education. During the same time period, they also worked as a Vocational Guidance counselor, helping students with career choices and offering self-awareness tools.

Prior to these roles, Katherine worked as a Special Educator at Develar from July 2016 to December 2019, providing academic intervention and curriculum adaptation for children with disabilities. Katherine also provided guidance to school teams.

Before entering the field of psychology, Katherine worked as an Executive Assistant at Remax from February 2014 to June 2017, supporting a real estate consultant in various administrative tasks.

Katherine Katan Piñeiro has a diverse education history. In 2011, they obtained an International Baccalaureate - Bilingual Diploma from Bachillerato Internacional. In the same year, they also obtained an IGCSE certification from the University of Cambridge.

From 2008 to 2011, Katherine pursued a Degree in Social Sciences from Tarbut.

In 2012, they began their studies at the Universidad del Salvador, where they completed a Licentiate Degree in Psychology in 2016.

In 2018 and 2019, they attended the Universidad del Salvador again and obtained a degree in Psychology Professor, specializing in the University Pedagogical Cycle.

In 2019, Katherine pursued further education by completing a Master's Degree in Gender Studies from the Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales.

Katherine also engaged in additional postgraduate courses. In 2019, they completed a course on Integral Sex Education at the Colegio de Psicólogos del Distrito XV. Additionally, they completed a course on Clinical Psychotherapy for Children at the Mental Health Center "Dr. Hugo Rosarios".

In 2020, Katherine further enhanced their skills by completing a Human Resources Recruitment and Selection course at Capacitarte.

Currently, Katherine is pursuing a Master's Degree in Education at Universidad de 'San Andrés', expected to be completed between 2021 and 2023. In the same year, they also completed a Diploma in Treatment for Anxiety and Stress Disorders from the Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales.
