Mark Fernandez

Mark Fernandez has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mark currently holds the position of Vice President AML Quality Control Manager at Amalgamated Bank since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Citizens as an AML Manager, Assistant Vice President from April 2022 to April 2023. Mark also has a strong background in banking, having worked at Investors Bank from 2014 to 2022. Their roles at Investors Bank included Assistant Vice President, BSA Alerts Supervisor, BSA/AML Supervisor, BSA Analyst, Assistant Branch Manager, Personal Banker, and Bank Teller. Additionally, Mark co-founded and worked as a writer for ChewTheDirt.com, an entertainment/news website, from August 2013 to August 2014. Mark also gained experience as an Assistant Manager at Anthony & Sylvan Pools from May 2009 to November 2013, where they contributed to the store's success in pool essential sales.

Mark Fernandez, CAMS, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Park & Tourism Management from Penn State University in the years 2008 to 2012.
