Prior to this role, Kanakaraja held various positions within the company, including Group Chief Integrity Officer, Head of Risk Management Department, and Head of Internal Audit Department. With a strong educational background, Kanakaraja holds degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, and Law, as well as various diplomas in Anti Money Laundering, Compliance, and Risk Management. Kanakaraja also previously worked as a Subject Matter Expert/ Consultant in the Forensic Division of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.
