David Johnston

David Johnston has a strong work experience in the textile industry. David started their career in 1977 at Coats as a Technical Director for Global Thread Supplies and worked there until 2003. From 2004 to 2018, they were with American & Efird, where they held various roles including Regional Operations Director - Asia and Group Vice President Manufacturing. In 2018, they became an Independent Consultant until 2022. Currently, they serve as the Managing Director at AMANN Group.

David Johnston's education history includes studying General Management at Hult Ashridge until 1993. Prior to that, from 1978 to 1982, they attended Belfast Met, where they obtained a degree in Chartered Textile Technologist and became an Associate of The Textile Institute (CText ATI).
