Amara is committed to positive long-term outcomes for children and families. We drive systemic change, promote healing, racial and LGBTQIA+ equity, by offering programs and services to families engaged in foster care, and to adoptees and families, post-adoption.

Foster Care Services: We guide, prepare, and support foster families to ensure that every kid in foster care can be placed in a stable, loving home.

Post Adoption Services: Our Post-Adoption services support Amara adoptees and their families through community-building, mentorship, education, and more.

Amara welcomes youth, adults, and families into our program regardless of marital status, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, home ownership, income, or education.
