Chien Siang Yu

Chien Siang Yu has extensive work experience in various roles within the fields of innovation, trust, and computer security. Chien Siang is currently serving as the Chief Innovation & Trust Officer (CITO) at Amaris.AI Pte Ltd since August 2018. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Innovation Officer at Certis CISCO Singapore from 2016 to May 2018, and also served as the Chief Innovation Officer at the Ministry of Home Affairs from April 2014 to March 2016. Before transitioning into innovation roles, Chien Siang Yu worked as a Computer Security Consultant at MHA from January 2008 to March 2014, where they conducted security examinations of national projects and led cyber security programs. Chien Siang also has managerial and consultancy experience at MHA from 1985 to 2007 and at MINDEF from 1981 to 1986. Chien Siang Yu's work experience reflects their strong background in innovation, trust, and computer security.

Chien Siang Yu attended Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences from 1976 to 1981, where they obtained a degree in Datentechnik. In 2007, they also completed a Postgraduate Executive Programme at Peking University, specializing in the Global Public Policy Executive Training Program. Prior to their university studies, they attended National Junior College from 1973 to 1974, and before that, they attended ACS, although the specific dates and field of study for both institutions are unknown.
