Janani Krishnamurthy has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Janani started their career as a Customer Service Specialist at Vodafone in 2011, where they focused on identifying the best products and plans for customers and resolving issues. Janani then joined Commonwealth Bank in 2012 as a Credit Card Specialist, where they serviced credit card customers and generated sales through understanding customer needs.
In 2014, Janani interned at Telstra, gaining experience in NBN customer experience in a retail and marketing capacity. This was followed by various roles at Telstra, including Continuous Improvement Specialist and Product Manager for Consumer Post Paid Mobiles. During their time at Telstra, they demonstrated strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
Janani then joined BT in 2018, where they served as the Senior Proposition Manager for TV and Sport and later as the Senior Proposition Development Manager for BT Mobile. In these roles, they contributed to the development and management of products.
From 2020 to 2023, Janani worked at Optus as the Associate Director of nbn Home Product. Here, they owned the acquisition and retention trading performance of NBN, led a team, and managed the P&L and product performance.
Janani's most recent role was as the Director of Product at amaysim starting in 2023.
Janani Krishnamurthy pursued a Bachelor of Management degree with a specialization in Marketing at Monash University from 2013 to 2015.
