Nahrin Oda

Software Engineering Team Lead - Frontend at Amaze

Nahrin Oda has a diverse background in various roles within the design and project management field. Nahrin started their career in 2003, working for the Municipality of Abu Dhabi, where they managed interior and landscape projects. Nahrin also taught project management to design students at the American University of Sharjah. From 2011 to 2012, Nahrin worked as a Project Manager for various design and build companies, overseeing tasks, risks, and progress reporting. In 2012, they joined SYNC Office of Design Management Inc. as a Product Designer, developing designs using specialized computer software and establishing client relationships. Nahrin then worked as a Design Manager on a contract basis at Starbucks in 2013, managing contracts, designing store interiors, and reporting project status. Most recently, they joined Amaze in 2019 as a Software Engineer.

Nahrin Oda has a diverse education history with a focus on computer programming and data science. In 1999 to 2003, they attended the American University of Sharjah and earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree. Nahrin then pursued further education in computer programming by attending the Full Stack Coding BootCamp at the University of Toronto in 2018. In the same year, they also completed data science and data analytics programs at BrainStation. Nahrin continued expanding their knowledge in 2020 to 2021 by studying data structures and algorithms at the Zero To Mastery Academy.

In addition to their formal education, Nahrin Oda obtained several certifications. In 2019, they acquired certifications in various programming and web development areas through LinkedIn, including "Building Web APIs with Flask," "JavaScript: Events," "Express Essential Training," "JavaScript: Patterns," "Learning Git and GitHub," "Learning Webpack 3," "UX Design: 1 Overview," "UX Design: 2 Analyzing User Data," "UX Design: 3 Creating Personas," and "UX Foundations: Content Strategy." Nahrin also obtained a certification in "Learning Docker" in 2018.
