Michael Bassler

Michael Bassler has been involved in a variety of work experiences since 2020. In 2020, they became the CEO of WETHEBRANDS_, a technology-driven e-commerce company that buys, grows and operates Amazon businesses. Michael also became a University Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at Hochschule Fresenius. In 2021, they became the Founding Investor of Heizfix GmbH, a Seed Investor of Leverest and Retalos, and the CEO of Amazing Capital, a venture capital investments company. In 2022, they became a Founding Investor of Sola and a Series A Investor of respond.io.

Michael Bassler has a long and varied educational history. Michael completed a Bachelor's degree in 2009-2013 at Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln, followed by a Master's Degree in 2014-2015 at the same institution. From 2016-2019, they were a Doctoral Student at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, studying Corporate Finance: Hedge Fund Activism in Vallendar. In 2017, they were a University Lecturer at Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln, teaching Investment Banking in the Bachelor Program. Michael was also a Lecturer at Hochschule Fresenius in Idstein from 2017-2018, teaching Entrepreneurship & Online Marketing in the Bachelor Program. In 2020-2021, they were a Lecturer at Hochschule Fresenius in Cologne, teaching Master program - Entrepreneurship & Social Media Management.

In addition to their formal education, Michael Bassler has also obtained several certifications.
