Simon Hughes

Simon Hughes has extensive experience in sales and business development, currently serving as Sales Director and Business Development Director at Amazon Filters Ltd since June 1998. In these roles, Simon oversees the Strategic Sales Plan and collaborates across various sales divisions, focusing on expanding business within the Global Oil & Gas sector, particularly the Upstream sector. Previously, Simon managed sales for the UK, Ireland, and the Oil & Gas sector while leading a team of seven salespersons. Prior to Amazon, Simon worked as an Internal Sales Engineer at Pall Europe Ltd., supporting the Hydrocarbons, Polymers, and Chemicals Division, and began a career as a Technician Apprentice and Development Engineer at Porvair Filtration Group. Education includes attendance at Swanmore Secondary School and Highbury College of Technology.
