Akemi Watanabe

Akemi Watanabe is a highly experienced executive with a strong background in technology and leadership. Currently serving as Vice President at Amazon since July 2013, Akemi has previously held the position of President of Lenovo Japan from April 2012 to June 2013. Prior to that, Akemi worked at IBM from October 2005 to March 2012, where responsibilities included Vice President roles in Inside Sales, Strategic Alliances, and the Systems and Technology Group. Akemi Watanabe holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Kyushu University, earned between 1982 and 1986.
