Ed Banti

Ed Banti is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience across major companies. Currently serving as Director of Fashion & Stores Technology at Amazon since 2023, Ed leads a 650-person team focused on enhancing the Amazon Fashion shopping experience through innovative features. Prior to this role, Ed was the Senior Director of Marketplace at Uber, overseeing consumer and driver pricing strategies. Ed's tenure at Amazon began in 2011, culminating in a role as Director of Machine Learning and Search, where the Search Customer Experience team significantly contributed to the company's retail sales. Earlier experience includes positions at Microsoft, where Ed managed product teams for Exchange Server and Office 365, as well as software engineering roles. Ed holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
