Evan Peet, Ph.D., is a Senior Manager of Economics on the People eXperience and Technology Central Science team at Amazon, where they lead teams employing advanced causal inference and ML/AI methods to enhance the experiences of Amazon employees. They previously served as an economist at the RAND Corporation and held academic roles, including being a professor at the Pardee RAND Graduate School and co-director of the RAND Center for Causal Inference. Their research has concentrated on health, policy, and causal inference, specifically focusing on substance use disorders and maternal and child health. Evan received a Ph.D. in economics from Duke University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
