Janet S. serves as Vice President of People eXperience Technology at Amazon since June 2018, leveraging extensive expertise in human resources and employment law. Prior to Amazon, Janet held the position of Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Lowe's Companies, contributing as a senior member of the Fortune 50 leadership team. Experience also includes roles such as Vice President of Employment Law at Office Depot, and Sr. Employment Counsel at Republic Industries, among others. Janet's legal background began at Ford Motor Company, specializing in complex litigation discovery. Janet is currently pursuing certificates in Business Sustainability Strategy and Artificial Intelligence Implications to Business Strategy from MIT Sloan School of Management and has completed the Advanced Executive Leadership Program at The Wharton School.
