Kaan Yalkin

Kaan Yalkin is an experienced professional in communications and public relations, currently serving as Partnerships & Engagement Lead for The Climate Pledge at Amazon since July 2016. Kaan's previous roles at Amazon include Senior Public Relations Manager, Public Relations Manager, and Public Relations Strategist. Prior experience includes serving as Advisor for Global Marketing Communications at Destination Canada from September 2012 to January 2016, and as Media Relations Fellow at the U.S. House of Representatives. Additionally, Kaan has held positions with the Embassy of Canada in Washington, DC, the Parliament of Canada, and the Federal Court of Canada. Kaan began a career in communications as a Media Relations Assistant with VANOC and was also the Marketing & Communications Coordinator for the UBC Arts Undergraduate Society. Kaan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Political Science from The University of British Columbia, completed in 2011.
