Katie Michel

Katie Michel is the Sustainability Engagement Lead at Amazon, where they manage and engage external stakeholders on sustainability topics while collaborating with the communications team to enhance content for employees. Previously, they served as a Vice President at Ketchum, leading sustainability accounts and focusing on strategic communication and reporting for major clients. Katie co-founded Women in CSR Bay Area, a community dedicated to supporting women leaders in corporate social responsibility, and has held various roles in sustainability and communications, including managing communications at ECOtality and coordinating logistics for The Climate Reality Project. They earned a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish from Vanderbilt University.
