Katie Valko

Katie Valko is currently serving as Chief of Staff to the Vice President of HR at Amazon, where they leverage a progressive background in HR Generalist work to enhance operations and process improvement. Previously, they held roles including Regional HR Manager and Human Resources Business Partner across multiple Amazon locations, focusing on developing HR strategies and managing large teams during periods of rapid growth. Katie's early career included consulting and business development roles, rooted in strong communication and analytical skills. They are pursuing a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a focus on Management Consulting at the University of Notre Dame and studying International Business at Fundación Universidad de las Américas, Puebla, A.C. Outside of work, Katie enjoys running, sewing, and reducing plastic use.
